Society Protocol Season 3 12

SS's Counterattack

The most important one began to move.

Since the angel had already left Earth, he could not directly sense such changes.

God paid no attention either.

This was because he had to carry out the task of launching new stars and bursting dying ones.

From the perspective of God, who governs such planets and the entire universe,

he had little interest in the problems of humans—stars in a small corner, like dust blown by the wind on Earth. They were merely dust accumulated on a trophy that had been standing for a long time.

Whenever cleaning was needed, he could simply wipe them away with a rag.

The most important one was aware of God's arrogance.

Humans were under a delusion.

As if God existed to make humans live well.

However, God merely created the system; he has no interest in their lives.

Some dust flutters around inside the room,

and some dust crosses the ocean, flying from China to Korea.

None of us marvel at how great that dust is. He was merely enraged that the air had become polluted.

God was no different.

He had no interest in the society created by humans.

He had simply helped a little because his Earth was crying out for help.

The Most Important One decided that now, for the sake of the humans he loved,

it was time to tell again the story he had told them back when they were naked beasts running around in the Garden of Eden.

Electrical devices were neutralized by the soundless and lightless electron guns fired by the enemies.

The same was true for the automobile, a mechanical device.

The Most Important One peeled off the plastic cover in the garage.

It was a bicycle.

A vehicle that maximized human movement.

Whenever his children grew up, the Most Important One gifted them bicycles.

It required concentration and constant pedaling.

Then, one could travel far at a speed several times faster than when walking alone. He rode his bicycle through the destroyed city.

His brain was slightly different from the structure of a human.

The enemy's weapons would likely have little effect on him.

However, EMPs and billboards that destroyed buildings would certainly be a threat.

First of all, the problem was that the weapons used by the enemy acted directly on the human brain, the most vital part of the human body.

The fact that radio waves stop the functioning of the human frontal lobe meant that they were blocking the neurotransmitters flowing through the brain.

The solution, then, was simple.

All he had to do was prevent them from blocking the neurotransmitters.

He had known the answer from the very beginning.

And radio waves had been around for quite a long time.

And X-rays had also been invented a long time ago.

Countermeasures against them had already been prepared long ago.

It was a part he could not understand why those smart humans hadn't taken action.

All he had to do was cut off the radio waves.

It was a matter that could have been resolved by simply wrapping themselves in lead or putting on a double-barreled bucket.

But to think they were fighting and killing each other.

Indeed, humans had to eat the fruit to at least escape the level of beasts.

Looking at the destroyed city, I was reminded of the regions where wars had been fought in the past.

Back then, they became ruins and seas of fire, but until recently, they had been restored even more magnificently, as if nothing had ever happened.

Even though it has become a ruin again now, as long as humans do not give up,

they will once again create buildings even more magnificent than one could have imagined.

The most important person whistled as he rode his bicycle past the ruined city.

By controlling the size of his lips with his breath to generate sound waves,

changing the frequency to cause changes and create sounds,

giving a regular cycle to those changes to create and sing what is called music,

and that stimulating the brain to change emotions,

Humans were truly beings one could not help but love. The Most Important One seemed to be visible to the eye.

More magnificent buildings would rise in this ruined city,

and the vehicles humans would ride would evolve further, taking on cool shapes and sometimes even flying through the air. It seemed as though such a future was right before the Most Important One's eyes.

It took quite a long time to travel from his home near the Seattle harbor to the tower where DS headquarters was located.

It seemed that humans were now too afraid to even venture outside.

Bodies lay scattered throughout the city, and buildings were on fire.

As the Most Important One rode his bicycle through the ruined city, he whistled.

The song was Bobby McFerrin's "Don't Worry, Be Happy Now."

“Don't Worry, Be Happy Now”

“Woo woo ”

The Tower, the headquarters of DS, was not destroyed.

In the ruined city, the tower, resembling a spaceship, seemed to sing of hope even more symbolically.

The base was in chaos.

Electricity was available because it had its own power system,

but the supercomputer was operating at a minimum level to reduce power consumption.

Seeing the elevator in operation, the Most Important One smiled happily.

Upon reaching the top of the tower, he saw his children bustling about.

The moment the Most Important One opened the elevator door and stepped inside, the busy figures came to a halt.

He was different from the image known before.

He always seemed angry,

and the sight of him relying on a wheelchair without limbs used to evoke pity.

However, now he was walking confidently and smiling.

“So, are you ready for revenge?”

The head of Seattle took a notebook from the table and showed it to the most important person.

“Yes, we can do it. We can do it. We can do anything.”

The gloomy atmosphere changed in an instant at the hopeful expression on the most important person's face.

It was because his words had never been wrong, not even once.

It was because everyone knew that history proved that fact.

Everyone had gathered to pool their wisdom in order to find a minimal form that did not use electricity.

The method was simpler than expected. They opened the kitchen drawer, took out some aluminum foil, spread it out, stuck it to their forehead, and wrapped it in plastic wrap—that was it.

The descendants of the serpent transmitted the message via satellite to the SS members who were still alive.

If they didn't have foil, they simply covered themselves with any metal.

Human society began its counterattack.

The enemy's weapons could not neutralize guns.

The same was true for knives.

The nature of war had changed, resembling the primitive or medieval eras.

They took on the form of people riding horses, wielding spears, and wearing helmets; they crafted bows and Molotov cocktails.

Things like cars scattered in the streets and helicopters crashed into the ruins were no longer a loss at all.

They were going to start over from the bottom.

They could rebuild the society they had lost.

This was because all knowledge resided within their minds.

Although their armies had been taken away, the enemy would be few and far between, possessing the knowledge to use those weapons. And there were likely few enemies who possessed the physical ability to defeat them in a physical fight.

They still had the numerical advantage.

And above all, they were filled with the rage that they had to kill their enemies at the cost of their own bodies.

It was more destructive than expected.

The rage made them forget the pain and stimulated their bodies to move even faster.

And then, signal fires began to be lit all over the world. They had begun communicating through smoke.

People passed down methods to defend against enemy attacks from mouth to mouth.

This was because every household had a kitchen, and there were hardly any homes without aluminum foil in their kitchens.

It didn't matter if they wore a microwave or a rice cooker on their heads. Using a tin bucket of water was also sufficient.

People began to bring out items from their homes that could serve as weapons, one by one.

There were clubs, and there were iron pipes. Housewives even brought out kitchen knives.

And above all, this was America. Every house had a gun.

Enemies wearing blue helmets were roaming the streets without any resistance or fear.

Now, their weapons could have no effect on humanity.

People rushed forward and subdued the enemies with clubs.

Their bodies were torn to shreds, and their helmets became trophies. Some of the citizens put on their helmets,

and tore their symbol, the white cross, from a pickup truck, staining it red with the enemy's blood.

Then, waving the red cross, they began to march.

The tide of battle turned in an instant.

Although Pyramid Lake in Nevada, where Jackson was located, was a relatively remote area, people were flocking in.

They began to employ human wave tactics, much like the Chinese Communist forces during the Korean War.

A sea of people had begun to surge in.

Massacres unfolded all over the world. Those wearing blue helmets became targets.

They were all brutally murdered, regardless of age or gender.

This news reached members of the million Salvation Sect in Korea as well.

They realized that their weapons were no longer effective.

Elder Kim, the new leader who had been a former gangster, ordered everyone to remove their helmets and change into civilian clothes. They realized that the time had come to abandon their paradise, the prayer retreat, and venture into the wilderness.

Among them was Mi-hee. Mi-hee did not participate in the battle directly.

She was working on assembling weapons inside the prayer retreat after holding Pastor Hwang's funeral.

People had not yet poured into Gangwon Province.

After killing Hunting Dog No. 3, who was still alive, they abandoned the prayer retreat and began their journey on foot.

The number of surviving members of the Million Salvation Sect worldwide had now dwindled to fewer than 10,000.

They all discarded their helmets and hid among the crowds.

Some went to the mountains, some to the sea, others to the fields—hiding in places where no one was around.

The organization was now on the verge of complete collapse.

At the same time, everyone began to pray to God.

“Please grant us the wisdom to overcome these difficulties. Please help us. Please help us to fulfill your will. God, please help us.”

Perhaps influenced by the prayers of believers, God heard the prayers for salvation from these dust-like humans.

And He began a few tasks that only God could perform.

God devised a plan to blow up the entire Earth. And He gave the order.

God’s command was simple.

“Let it be done.”

That single word was all it took.

By God’s command, the entire universe began to look toward Earth.

And there was something that began to move according to God’s will. However, even that took time to come to fruition.

This was because the system God created could only be realized by passing through physical circumstances.

Until God’s will was fulfilled, it was impossible to know if the humans who worshipped Him would survive.

They were things destined to disappear someday, but if they vanished now, humans would only increase their numbers even further.

God commanded all living things on Earth, as well as the land, the air, and nature.

“Attack.”
