Society Protocol Season 3 07
Rage
Large-scale brawls unfolding in Seoul, Busan, Daejeon, and Gwangju were broadcast live on TV.
The brawl began in the stands while a professional baseball game was in progress.
It started when someone threw a cup of beer toward the stands.
People began assaulting each other, and scenes of biting and scratching were shown.
As people began to move to avoid the violence, they pushed and shoved one another, resulting in accidents where people were pinned down.
When someone started throwing lighters at the stadium,
others followed suit, setting their own clothes on fire and throwing them as well.
Scenes were shown of a burned person jumping towards the camera, and there was also footage of a cameraman slamming his head into the lens.
Players on the field threw baseballs at their opponents, then came out with bats and began assaulting each other.
Police officers dispatched after receiving reports began firing guns at the spectators.
The spectators jumped in and bit the police officers. At first, it seemed as though they were assaulting each other, but then some of them formed groups and began moving together.
There was a person who tried to tear off a stadium seat by force.
Once one of the seats was torn off, they picked it up and started swinging it at the crowd.
The announcer and commentator broadcasting the game began cursing at each other and then started assaulting one another.
This was not limited to baseball stadiums.
People assaulted each other and set fires in theaters as well.
When the theater's sprinklers went off, people were crushed to death while evacuating.
It happened at soccer stadiums too.
These kinds of incidents began to occur wherever people gathered.
This was not happening only in Korea.
In Islamic countries, people began assaulting each other in mosques,
and in Japan, they started assaulting each other during Matsuri festivals.
Ordinary citizens merely assaulted with fists or feet, or grabbed nearby clubs.
However, some of the police officers were armed with guns, and they began firing indiscriminately. In China, men and women practicing Tai Chi assaulted each other,
and in Italy, believers attending Mass began assaulting each other inside a church.
Car racing tracks in Europe turned into absolute chaos.
Cars collided with each other, and there were even incidents where cars flew into the spectator stands.
Countries declared a state of emergency and began deploying special police units or the military.
This brought about even greater disaster.
Armed police and soldiers fired at civilians, and now they were shooting at each other.
The members of MS were watching this scene on TV or the internet.
Would God truly forgive them for the atrocities they had committed?
However, they quickly changed their minds.
This was indeed God's will.
The patients were transported to the hospital, but the violence continued there as well.
Doctors were stabbing patients with knives, and the patients began setting fire to the hospital.
Patients limping to avoid the fire bumped into each other and fell,
and many were crushed to death as others jumped on top of them.
Fire trucks were spraying water not at the fire, but at the people,
and some died as their internal organs burst from the water pressure.
The members of both SS and DS were in complete chaos.
A few of the members had gone to the stadium. By the time Pastor Branson arrived in Seattle by plane,
a tragedy of assault, arson, and stampede was already unfolding across the globe.
“I’ve been blindsided.”
Branson planned to go directly to the DS headquarters and deliver the blueprints.
The heart of downtown Seattle was paralyzed by a major traffic accident.
Therefore, travel by vehicle was impossible.
The members of DS dispatched a helicopter to bring Branson back.
They knew who had done this.
They also knew that Branson was the one who started it all.
However, it was Branson who was shortening the time needed to resolve this problem.
He was a kind of key man.
DS immediately began to take action.
Through the broadcast cameras, they had spotted the helmeted figures gathering, locating them with the eyes of a snake.
“They appear to be deliverymen. We must eliminate them immediately.”
The General Manager of the DS in Seattle remained silent after hearing the Watchdog member’s words.
“By what means?”
“Well...”
He realized that he could not move recklessly, as even if he went with a weapon, he would only end up acting exactly as the enemy wanted.
“Leave them alone for now. Don’t move rashly. We still have the numerical advantage.”
For a new tree to grow, the existing must first be destroyed.
The old roads already established have narrow passages.
They could not simply be pushed aside.
However, Hiroshima, reduced to ashes by a nuclear bomb, rebuilt the city anew.
The same was true for Pyongyang in North Korea. Only when things turn to ashes can a new building be constructed.
Only when people disappear do young people find work.
Only when a building burns down and collapses does human labor become necessary to rebuild it,
and only then are jobs created and the economy runs.
The death of some people was not entirely a loss for them.
In public corporations, where there were presidents or executives holding their positions for a long time,
the employees below them could not get promoted.
If they caused trouble and were fired, the people who would be happiest are likely their subordinates.
As long as they were not personally harmed, it was a situation where simply watching was acceptable.
In Korea, isn't this what they call watching a fire across the river?
“Make sure you are fully prepared before responding. No one should act rashly.”
The highest-ranking official in Seattle issued the order to everyone.
“Yes, understood.”
Watch Dog No. 1 delivered the most important message to his comrades.
Other brothers also began to gather one after another at the tower where the Seattle DS members were located.
As expected, the only ones with whom one could even have a conversation were blood relatives.
“It’s much more intense than I thought? And it’s very fast. I thought they were just wimps.”
It was his younger brother, eight years his junior, who, despite being a half-brother, understood him better than anyone else.
“How did you get here so quickly? I don’t know for sure since I didn’t see it myself, but how bad is it?”
“Brother, this is practically living hell. It seems crazy people get stronger too; they were even smashing car windows with their heads.”
It looked much more serious than expected. However, they could not act rashly.
After all, they themselves possessed human bodies. They could not help but be affected.
“Branson is coming here. He says he is bringing the blueprints, so you analyze them yourself and find a way.”
“What way?”
“A way to protect us from their weapons.”
The younger brother replied immediately, as if it were no big deal.
“What does that have to do with the blueprints? I heard those guys are wearing something like helmets. We can just bring those helmets over, right?”
Although she was always quick and accurate in her judgment, Ji-hye knew her younger sibling was more capable.
“Right then, how are you going to steal those helmets?”
The younger sibling was speechless for a moment. It seemed like a somewhat cruel idea, even to himself.
“Since things have come to this anyway. What would be best? Hmm... how about using phosgene?”
Phosgene is a type of poison gas.
After about an hour, blisters form on the skin, and when phosgene combines with the body's moisture, it turns into hydrochloric acid.
This creates hydrochloric acid inside the human body.
Therefore, it is a deadly poison gas that primarily causes death by melting the lungs.
“It takes too long. Leaving aside the harm to the people around, the items we are recovering could get damaged.” After thinking for a moment, the younger brother immediately came up with an idea.
“That’s true. Then what choice do we have? We’ll just have to shoot them.”
“So, who?”
“Since a person can’t go. We have to send something else instead.”
The Seattle General Manager scoffed to himself, wondering why he hadn’t thought of that.
They had become so engrossed in the enemy’s actions that they had lost sight of their own strengths.
“You really are the best younger brother.”
“You may be my younger brother, but don’t let your guard down. I’m always eyeing your position, hahahaha.”
“I’d feel at ease with you.”
“What does that have to do with the blueprints? I heard those guys are wearing something like helmets. We can just bring those helmets over, right?”
He knew that while his judgment was always quick and accurate, his younger brother was superior in intellect.
“Right then, how are you going to steal those helmets?”
His brother was speechless for a moment. It seemed like a somewhat cruel idea, even to himself.

The Seattle General Manager sent a message to Hunter Dog.
The plan was to kill the enemy with their drones and steal their helmets.
They did not use the low-speed drones because they attracted public attention.
However, as expected, anything made eventually finds a use.
Hunter Dog No. 1 was on the verge of exploding with rage against the enemies destroying the society he was protecting.
He would cut off the lifelines of the enemies harming his favorite sport, his favorite region, and the people.
Han River Park in Seoul was quiet. However, gasps of awe could be heard from people sitting on benches looking at their smartphones.
“Did some interesting video pop up?”
Min-hyuk knew his physical abilities had improved significantly, but he ran while exercising maximum restraint to avoid drawing too much attention.
When there were no people around, he would run a little faster and jump higher.
It seemed that not only his muscle strength but also his cardiovascular capacity had been enhanced.
He felt out of breath and not tired at all. I wanted to see how long this would last, but I thought I had reached a point where I possessed this level of ability.
Just then, I received a call on my cell phone.
“Where is Minhyuk?”
“Ah, Branch Manager, he’s running by the Han River right now.”
“Didn’t you see the news? Come to headquarters right now. I said the Han River, right? Either run or ride a bike. The roads are useless anyway.”
I realized the situation was serious. I thought I could get there by running, but it was obvious that a bicycle would be much faster.
There was nowhere to get a bike. Just then, I saw women sitting on a bench talking with their Ttareung bikes (Shared bicycles operated by the Seoul Metropolitan Government) parked right in front of me.
Min-hyuk approached the bike.
“Excuse me, but could I borrow this bike for a moment? I’m in a bit of a rush.”
The women let out a cheer when they saw Minhyuk.
It was a rental bike anyway, and right in front of them was the rising star, Kang Min-hyuk.
“Yes, please take it.” “Yes, thank you.”
“Excuse me, but could I take a picture?”
“Oh, of course. And if you give me your contact information, I’ll thank you.”
After taking a picture together, Min-hyuk received the woman’s contact information.
He sent a gift certificate using the coffee shop’s app on his smartphone.
Min-hyuk ran as fast as he could.
Just then, his phone rang. It was his mother.
“Hello?”
“Min-hyuk, where are you?”
“Please speak. Are you okay, Mom?”
“Father... Father.”
“What do you mean, Father, Mom?”
“Father passed away.”
Min-hyuk stopped pedaling his bicycle. On Sundays, his father would have gone hiking.
Recently, they hadn't been able to go together.
Since the uphill and downhill routes were different, he likely hadn't taken the car.
He didn't know what might have happened on the subway. Min-hyuk felt more anger than sadness.
The organization's search for him was undoubtedly connected to MS.
The fruit of knowledge expanded his thoughts.
And his physical abilities were enhanced by the incubator.
It felt as though his brain function was improving even more alongside that physical enhancement.
And his emotions were amplified even further.
Not only his senses, but even his anger intensified significantly.
Min-hyuk knew who he had to eliminate.
It was the man he had met in person.
